Come summers and you're looking for something refreshing to drink. What's more refreshing than some chilling Pineapple and Litchi Melody this week.
Let's see how this exotic recipe is made shall we?
For the recipe you will need:
2 slices of fresh pineapple, cut into 1-inch pieces
2 tsp sugar
6 to 8 leaves of pudina
¼ tsp black salt
¾ cup litchi juice
Pinch of freshly crushed pepper
6 to 8 cubes of ice.
First you need to heat the pineapple pieces and sugar on a non-stick pan till the sugar caramelises and pineapples turn soft. Boil it with 1⁄4 cup of water and cool it. Then blend the pineapples along with caramelised water, mint, salt, pepper and litchi juice. Add ice cubes, garnish with pudina. Serve it cool!
