GREENS IN BLACK BEAN SAUCE

Hi everyone! This is a new bok choy recipe we have for you. Dont forget to try it out and give us some feedback on it.


INGREDIENTS

  1. 2 bunches of bok choy washed and stalks trimmed by just ½ " from the bottom 
  2. 100 gms snow peas or French beans stringed 
  3. 1 cup roughly chopped cabbage 
  4. 2-3 tbsp olive oil 
  5. 6-8 flakes garlic sliced or chopped 
  6. 4 tbsp black bean sauce
  7. 2 tbsp tomato ketchup 
  8. 1 tbsp cornflour tsp roughly crushed black pepper
  9. 4 tsp salt 

PREPARATION

Boil 4 cups of water with 1 tsp salt and 1 tsp sugar in a pan. Add snow peas or french beans. 

Remove from fire. Let them be in hot water for 2-3 minutes. Strain and refresh under cold water to retain the green colour. lf you're using beans, then cut them into long pieces diagonally. 

Mix black bean sauce, ketchup, cornflour and cup water in a bowl. 

Heat olive oil in a non-stick kadhai or a wok. Add garlic and stir. Then add some cabbage. Stir for a minute. Add bok choy and stir fry for 2-3 minutes. Add the blanched snow peas or french beans, stir for a minute. 

Pour the mixed sauces and stir to coat the vegetables. Sprinkle some salt and pepper. Serve it hot ;
