Custard Apple / Sitaphal/ Sugar Apple

Custard Apple has very sweet pulp with custardy flavour. It contains a thick and scaly rind that is green in colour and looks segmented. Its fleah is rich and creamy in texture, encasing very few blackish-brown inedible seeds. They are fleshier and sweeter than their Greek counterparts. They are delicious and nutritious at the same time. Custard Apples are a rich source of Vitamin C & Vitamin K.
