Mosambi / Battaiah Pandu

Mosambi or Sweet lime is lime-like and large sized fruit with an underlying yellow base. It gives an intense, refreshing aroma that comes from the essential oils present in the skin. It generally tastes sweet, occasionally tart to sweet. It is rich in vitamin C and potassium. It has high water content that is known for its cooling properties. It helps lower cholesterol and control blood sugar level. They also prevent constipation.
