Tomato - Local

Local tomatoes are partly sour and partly sweet and contain lots of edible seeds that are red in colour due to lycopene, an anti-oxidant. It is rich in Vitamin C,K. lycopene, an antioxidant that helps reduce the risk of cancer and heart-diseases. They protect the eyes from light induced damage. It is good for pregnant women as it protect infants against neural tube defects.
